Value of people
As an international company operating in a world that is becoming increasingly more globalised, Aqua's objective is to adopt innovative ideas that can be utilised for developing the key skills necessary for achieving its business objectives, both in the specialist technical area and the managerial area.
For this reason a number of lines of intervention have been developed that guide, and will continue to guide in the future the management and development of personnel and company know-how.
These intervention initiatives are aimed at:
- protecting, sharing and developing strategic know-how for developing the business;
- developing leadership ability in managers as well as their ability to read and interpret economic and financial indicators;
- investing even more in young people, in terms of development and retention;
- improving efficiency in managing and developing personnel, with specific attention given to aspects connected to the internationalisation of the company and to comparisons with the outside world;
- supporting the engagement of personnel, as an element linked to company performance.
The analysis of the need for new skills and professionality is at the centre of Aqua's planning and recruitment. The selection of personnel, particularly on the Italian market, is the responsibility of Aqua International.
The involvement and wellbeing of people
The involvement of people is a fundamental element linked to the performance of the company. Aqua International is involved in many projects that, on the one hand, aim to evaluate the company climate and, on the other, aim to identify people's needs in terms of the services that could increase their wellbeing and the balance between a person's private life and their work life.
The results of the analysis will be used to identify the areas where intervention is necessary in order to obtain effective improvement in terms of organisation, management, development, communication and personnel training.
Involvement of people is also one of the key factors that help to guarantee that the company achieves the sustainability objectives it has set itself. In order to construct and share an internal sustainability culture, it is necessary to have efficient internal communication processes. |
